In order to fulfill the South Carolina Technical Education System's educational mission and to promote the achievement of individuals with varied potential, an open door admissions policy admits all citizens who can benefit from available learning opportunities and specific programs of study. This law requires that all students attending public colleges and universities in the state of South Carolina provide proof of "lawful presence in the United States." Acceptable High School Graduation Types
Acceptance to Greenville Technical College doesn’t guarantee admission to your chosen field of study. Placement is determined by your previous education, standardized tests, or scores on our placement tests. These measures are used to determine which classes you need to start with and to ensure your success in the program you’ve selected.
